We did it!

Actually, WE didn’t do much at all, but our three impressive Momma’s did! We knew January was going to be a busy month, and here we are at the end of it wondering how it all happened so fast!

Our days are flying by as we tend to three litters and make sure each one has exactly what they need. Never in my life did I think I would rely so heavily on spreadsheets and color coded schedules. Sleep in minimal, but this, too, shall pass. We are going on pure joy over the beauties that fill our center. We love them all!

Here’s what January looked like in a nutshell:

January 4, Lacey delivered 8 puppies. Her first puppy arrived around 8:30 p.m. and we finished into the early morning hours the next day.

January 10, Lily started her delivery right around 9:30 in the morning and had her last one at 5:30 the next morning. When she was done delivering, she literally did a “happy dance”. She decided to run outside and roll in the snow, wagging her tail the whole time. She was a proud momma, as she should be after delivering her 15 like the absolute rock star she is.

January 24, an entire two weeks later, (Thank you for the little break) Lila delivered her first litter and gave us some incredibly beautiful Bernese Mountain Puppies. We were amazed at their size! We just kept commenting on the size of their paws! We expected them to be big, but we were so excited to see them! We are so looking forward to watching them grow.

We have settled into a good rhythm, both humans and canines. I would be lying if I said I was feeling well rested a week after it all settled, but I’m not lying when I say that I am really enjoying watching them all grow! Every day is new and exciting with all of the puppies, and it truly never gets old!

We are looking for amazing families to welcome a few more of our Berns & Doodle’s puppies into their lives. If you, or anyone you know is interested, feel free to reach out and share our information. We are always happy to learn more about each of you and your desire for one of these sweet babies.

A huge thank you to all of you who have reached out and shared your excitement with us. We appreciate all of you!!!

Yours,

Megan
